KAYLA GORDON MUSICAL THEATRE AWARD

ELIGIBILITY

• The Applicant must be a Manitoba resident or has Manitoba as a primary Residence.
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years of age
• Self identifies as an EMERGING ARTIST (defined as one who has spent 5 years or FEWER practising their craft through public presentation NOT including student performances)
• Has demonstrated an active pursuit of a career in Musical Theatre by seeking training, skill development workshops and performance opportunities.

APPLICATION MUST INCLUDE

• Artist’s Resume
• One page letter of support from an established theatre artist.
• Personal letter from the applicant explaining why you have decided to pursue a career in Musical Theatre.
• Up to 5 images OR 1 minute audio recording OR 1 minute video *please choose one of these three options only.
• Applicant’s full mailing address, email & phone number
• Supporting Artist’s email & phone number

Selection process 

The applications will be juried by staff and board members of Winnipeg Studio Theatre.
